About the Production
This project was a TMU Bold Game Day Story where I covered a TMU Bold game in real time. The production included live social media updates throughout the game, creating engaging digital content for online audiences, and producing a post game recap featuring player interviews and key highlights. The goal was to capture the energy and key storylines of the game while delivering accurate and timely coverage to fans.
Creative Problem and Solution
The creative challenge was balancing speed and accuracy while reporting live. Posting in real time required quick decision making and strong attention to statistics while keeping up with the pace of the game. I needed to make sure my information was accurate while also posting quickly enough to keep fans updated as the game unfolded. To handle this, I researched both teams ahead of time, prepared notes on key players to watch, and tracked important moments throughout the game to support my post game recap. During the game, I stayed flexible with my approach, adjusting the story as it developed and focusing on identifying the true storyline of the game.
